Our exciting and challenging history curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity in our pupils. We believe that engaging children in asking questions and investigating the past helps them to better understand their lives today. Through their history learning, pupils come to understand their sense of identity and place in the world, and how it has been shaped by changes in society. Learning how to interpret history encourages an important analytical approach to how knowledge is presented. Our curriculum enables pupils to understand core concepts such as chronology, change and continuity, reasons for and results of change and interpretation.
